Supply Chain

Introduction

Each day, hundreds of suppliers play a part in sustaining our operations throughout the world. Our continued success as a world-class gold producer is due in part to the steadfastness of our supply chain and the quality of the businesses we partner with. Our operations depend upon the reliable supply of responsibly produced products and services, and the know-how of experts in their field. This supplier portal details how we do business, including our expectations of suppliers, and what we look for in a trading relationship. It also provides a high-level overview our procure-to-pay process and the minimum criteria required for supplying goods and services to our operations.

Supply chain overview

We relies on a national and international network of suppliers to provide input materials for its exploration, development, construction and production activities. More advanced and/or specialised equipment or input materials are sometimes sourced from countries other than those where our operations are located. We strives to undertake its material stewardship and supply chain management activities in a manner that is sustainable and adheres to internationally recognised practices. To this end, we endeavour to ensure value added, cost effective and sustainable service delivery that enables our operations to achieve their strategic growth and productivity objectives. Where practical, We strives to source materials from local in-country suppliers, thereby maximising the amount of value generated in the country of operation. Our’ ability to source locally can be restricted by a lack of local commercial capabilities, and the company is committed to helping local companies grow their capacity to deliver high quality, competitively priced products where possible.
